What are we drinking?

For the Wanderer holiday party, I needed to create a cocktail that was simple enough to serve to a big crowd but tasted delicious. I also needed it to be easy enough so that guests could serve it to themselves - so no shaking, stirring, or mixology please.

The Cranberry Mimosa won over my eyes when I researched what to serve. This festive drink is just three ingredients and will give you all the holiday feels after one glass:

  • Fill your flute with 1/3 cranberry juice.

  • Add a splash of orange liqueur (Grand Marnier or Triple Sec)

  • Fill remaining glass with champagne or sparkling wine (Prosecco, Cava, etc.)

  • Garnish with a cranberry on a toothpick or a sprig of rosemary, or drop a few pomegranate seeds into the glass. Cheers!

Trader Joe’s has been my solid when it comes to buying booze for all my parties.

Throw the seeds into a pretty bowl with a small serving spoon, or pre-spear the cranberries into toothpicks or rosemary.
